Well if you haven’t heard of “Skip The Dishes” already, I’m going to tell you a little about it today.
Skip the dishes is a company that will deliver your favorite meals from your favorite restaurants right to your front door! I’ve had many of my friends use this app or order from the website and it’s very handy to have at the tip of your fingers, especially if you’re a busy person like I am.
Skip The Dishes works like this: You go to the website/app and look for the restaurant you want to order from to see if they offer this service. If they do, place your order and for a small fee they will deliver your food right to your door.
This service has really helped GP’s Donair and Pizza grow their business. Besides dine-in and take out, they can now reach more people in more areas of Victoria than ever before with this app.
This is my favorite pizza place and I work there too! I love GP’s because I know the quality of the food is top notch, the standards are very high and all the staff are very pleasant. I would say a large percentage of our orders are through ‘Skip the Dishes’. I’ve known friends who have gone through cancer treatments and have heavily relied on this company to help deliver meals when they were unable to go out and pick it up.
GP’s Donair and Pizza has not only teamed up with Skip in the last few months, it has now extended its Skip The Dishes delivery hours until 10pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights! GP’s regular weekday hours, 4pm – 8pm, are still in effect for the restaurant dine-in service, but they are now open later for your delivery convenience. For all you UVic & Camosun students cramming for upcoming midterms, you can now have a hot and fresh pizza or donair, delivered straight to your door! It’s perfect study food.
For more information or to place an order, visit the Skip the Dishes site. I hope this blog post will take some stress off you for those busy days or nights where you just don’t feel like cooking or leaving the house.
